Ematic Funtab Mini 43 And the Adventures Of A 7 Month Old

Have you ever given a Tablet to a 7 month old? Well, New World Techs Online Computer Store launched on February 24th, and my Mom had to be the first one to order something just to show her support. The only problem is that she ordered an Ematic Funtab Mini ($69.99 USD) tablet for my 7 month old son. This same son's favorite hobby is eating everything that he gets his hands on. So what do you think he did when he received this thoughtful gift?

So, while I am suppose to be writing a review on how great this Ematic Funtab Mini 4.3" is at just $69.99, I just had to share how not great it is for a 7month old who is going through the teething stage...LOL!

While this tablet has many great features, like Zoodle Kid's Mode, it is not teething proof. However, it is fantastic for little hands that just cannot seem to keep a hold of things. The rubber body on this tablet is great for the many dropping accidents my son is sure to have.

On a better note, my 5 year old daughter loves the tablet. She also has the Leapfrog Ultra which she loves, but seems to be picking the Ematic Funtab Mini up more and more daily. It could be because it is new or the fact that it features more gaming options then the LeapFrog Ultra and that she can video message with mommy or granny.

Yes, that is right your child can send video messages right from their Funtab Mini with approved emails that you, the parent, must set up through Zoodle's website. I will talk about Zoodle a lot in this post in that it is the kid friendly searching engine Ematic uses with their kid tablet line.

Zoodle is also kind enough to send weekly updates to the parent about which games their child loves and what area the child should work on. You can then set appropriate subject areas right from your tablet, computer, or smartphone that Zoodle should promote for the next week and those games and activities are delivered right to the Funtab for your child. I love this feature!

My daughter loves to play Fruit Ninja and Angry Birds all day. With these emails I can turn these features off after a certain time and promote more educational content, such as math games and spelling. Love, Love, Love it!

You can see that my children love the Ematic Funtab Mini both for different reasons, eating and gaming. But the one thing that I must warn is that this is a kids tablet and only that. It does not have the things us adults are looking for like LED screen and easy website browsing. But it is great for kids and all their safety needs. I feel safe when my daughter has this because I can monitor what she is own and who she is talking to.You will not get the same features that the Lenovo IdeaTab S5000 offers, now that is a whole other post, but another great tablet New World Techs is offering, but you will get a peace of mind as a great product for the low price of $69.99.

What Samsung have done with the Galaxy S 5 is improve on the existing parts of the Galaxy S 4. These include a better camera that will take stills of moving action so you don't miss those once in a life time moments. Also the Samsung Galaxy S 5 has improved on a brighter display screen and a faster processor. It also has a better design in my opinion.

Samsung have said that they have stuck to the best parts of the Samsung Galaxy S 4 and improved on them to make the Samsung Galaxy S 5 better. Some of the extra on the Samsung Galaxy S 5 include faster web browsing and a fitness tracking to keep a eye on your heart beat. It also has better protection.

One of the key parts of a phone are not always the technological parts but does it "Just Look Good" Well all I can say is the Samsung Galaxy S 5 is not that much different from the rest. Samsung know how to design a phone so it is defiantly not ugly but it's the same design as others.

The main change in the appearance of the Samsung Galaxy S 5 are on the back and I have to say it looks excellent. Now we don't have the jokey attempts to resemble a real leather notebook. This has the effect of a much better grip of the phone and hopefully less drops in the toilet.

The Samsung Galaxy S 5 is made better than the S 3 & S 4 and this has made it a lot stronger also the size of the Samsung Galaxy S 5 is larger than its counter parts. This has allowed the Samsung Galaxy S5 to have more Note DNA. This is a crucial difference for the better.

The Samsung Galaxy S 5 goes more back to the design of the Samsung S 2 in appearance, a rectangle springs to mind. I was hoping Samsung would have gone for the full metal look but disappointedly they didn't.

How ever the feel in hand of the Samsung Galaxy S 5 is excellent, it feels solid and not does not feel cheap in anyway. One of the main improvements in regards to durability is the fact that the Samsung Galaxy S 5 is dust proof and waterproof. The Samsung Galaxy S 5 can with stand water up to 1 meter deep for a duration of 30 minutes. This is good news for people like me who have lost several phones down the toilet.

Which One is Better, Apple Computer Or Pc?

No doubt that computer is the most powerful tool in the world today but what to buy these days? Users have two choices these days. An Apple computer or a Microsoft based computer. Not an easy decision. Both have pros and cons. So what to decide? I will try to make a difference.

Microsoft software based PCs are in the market for a while now, something like 20 years or more. Everybody knows about them. Very popular machines but something like virus did not do well to them. The reason is very clear, too many of them around us. More numbers more attacks by virus authors or I would say virus criminals. Then the next big one is, it has been there for a while. May be some folk’s need a change? But the change does not look good because many businesses are being affected by the fact that the competitor does not allow more companies to make productions.

What about a change not a bad trend. If the change looks s better then just a change then it’s the best. Apple computers are in news too much these days. I see it like a fashion, a trend of wealthy people than a change. May be these computers and laptops are expensive. May be not for wealthy users but definitely there are very attractive things which are, they are more user friendly and more advanced against viruses. Yes, a huge fact, they are strong against malware attacks but bad thing expensive for a normal user or may be not compare to their worth.

There are different other nice features, like screen resolution, power of graphic processing, good battery life, good solid hardware design makes Apple computers look nicer than anything else. Apple’s MacBooks are very popular these days. Nice solid and beautiful design attracts more and more customers. Again the bad thing is, expensive to buy it whether it’s an Apple stock or an Apple MacBook but people still love them. This is the reason that there is an Apple audience who don’t want any change. The same thing with Microsoft, an addicted audience, does not want to see an Apple why because they are used to PC computers. The other reason, they like PC computers and laptops because they are cheap when they buy it in bundle although it’s expensive buying just the software. That led to software piracy. Apple was smart enough to keep the software cost low, so no piracy problem.

So which one? I don’t need to say anything more, you already know if you have read the beginning of this article. Easy or you need help? I am sure you cannot decide so the solution is find yourself in audience on one side or the other, you have no choice unless Google make its entry a success story, I wish so because there is really no better competition. Yes I am right, there is no true competition because if you don’t like one or the other, what is your choice then? I know there are many who disagree or don’t believe in one or the other. Some may debate that old paper work was better, I hear that sometimes. That is the reason; I can’t say which one is better.

My point is, both computers have made a difference in the world development. From computer processing to storing huge data and making wonder technology, computers are the best invention on this planet. If we look at the number of smart phones and tablets, it is unbelievable. Phones and tablets have added tremendous numbers into online community. All credit goes to system developers. Nice work by developers and designers, I would say. Good job and keep it up.
